Biography

Adam Fitzpatrick

psychologist | psychotherapist and meditation teacher

I am a psychologist /psychotherapist and meditation teacher with 23 years experience in the counselling, therapy and coaching field. I have worked with people in Australia as well as overseas to help empower them build more rewarding and successful lives. I see people from all walks of life – from Australia and the UK’s top corporate leaders, to some of Sydney’s homeless and everyone in between – to ensure everybody can develop the skills and vitality to become their best self – whatever form that might take.

After completing my studies to become a registered psychologist in Sydney, I have gone on to gain formal training in medical hypnosis, Buddhist Psychology, meditation, nutrition and natural therapies. With a broad range of experience and study, I blend the traditional with a more spiritual approach to my psychology practice and coaching. I assist people experiencing the full gamete of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress management, confidence issues, grief, sexuality, short and long-term psychotherapy to help them live a more rewarding and heartfelt life. Developing great rapport and connection is a key ingredient in the success of any therapy and I draw on this diverse skill set to work on a very personal and collaborative level to effect positive change. This unique and heartfelt style is also utilized in group relaxation, stress management and meditation classes which have become my passion.

My book, Is This It? How successful people get more life out of life was published in December 2012 and is available in Australian book stores, as an e-book on kindle, iTunes and other tablets or from this website.
